About
Jeff Cooperman is an Emmy- and Peabody-winning showrunner, whose credits include some of the industry’s leading non-fiction, satire, and news productions. His work is widely recognized for its strong writing, visual, and storytelling sensibilities.
After a decade at the newsmagazine Dateline NBC, he helped launch The Colbert Report and served as Managing Producer through the length of its nine-year run. He later joined the staff of the highly-regarded production company, Left/Right, where he served as EP/Showrunner on numerous multi-part documentary series and films. His current slate of productions includes work with partners ranging from Bill Clinton to James Cameron.
Throughout his career, he’s risen to the challenge of leavening heavy material with moments of joy, making for an engaging balance of critical information and compelling television.
